Galloway! <—– Video of Galloway singing!
Congratulations 6C, after 4 long, hard weeks of preparation, Solar Boats race day is finally here. I am so proud of each of you for the persistence, dedication, organisation and getting along skills that you have shown over this project.
During races, only 2 people from your team are required. Make sure you take turns, so everyone has a chance to race your boat. You must have a table in your maths book to record the times for each race and any alterations that you make to your boat. Everyone in your team needs this table.
During a race, one person will put the boat in, the other person will take pictures or videos.
You may also be asked to assist with timing with Mr Bell.
In addition to racing today, there are number of other tasks that MUST be completed. They are listed below.
Good Luck, may the best boat win!
Please find attached 3 separate documents which shall guide you on your journey towards writing your letter for your Sovereign Hill Sir or Ma’am.
Let me stress to you, that this is the BEGINNING of your research. You will need to complete a considerable amount of research before you begin writing your letter. You will be given some class time, however you WILL need to do homework. By the end of the term, we are expecting you to have completed a plan and draft of your letter.
On the first day of Term 2, we will complete our good copies, these will then be posted on the Tuesday.
